Dr. Jennifer Sergeeff, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM)

Internal Medicine

Dr. Jennifer Sergeeff received her undergraduate degree in Biology from UCLA, and then attended UC Davis Veterinary School for her DVM degree. This was followed by a 1 year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Purdue University, and finally a 3 year residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota. At the completion of her residency she obtained board-certification in small animal internal medicine.

As a Bay Area Peninsula native who likes the temperate weather, after her residency she moved back to California and hasn’t left since. Dr. Sergeeff has been practicing small animal specialty medicine in the Bay Area over the past 22 years.

Dr. Sergeeff enjoys all the facets of internal medicine, but has special interests in endocrinology, gastroenterology, renal disease, and feline medicine. As an unabashed cat lover, she completed additional training to be designated as a Feline Friendly Certified Veterinarian. Her goal as an internist is to provide comprehensive information and options for clients to help them understand the illness their pet is dealing with and support them throughout the course of their pets’ chronic disease.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys succulent gardening, catching a nap with her 2 rescue cats Emerson & Penelope, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
