Dr. Audrey Hudson, DVM, DACVO

Ophthalmologist

Dr. Audrey Hudson earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University. After practicing small animal medicine and surgery for three years, she pursued a specialization in veterinary ophthalmology. Dr. Hudson completed a three-year residency in veterinary ophthalmology in Dallas, TX, and became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2016. While she enjoys all facets of veterinary ophthalmology, Dr. Hudson is particularly interested in surgical interventions for ocular diseases and the management of neuro-ophthalmic conditions.

Dr. Hudson frequently speaks at national and international veterinary meetings on the medical and surgical treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Hudson is enthusiastic about finding creative solutions for ophthalmic diseases and is active in clinical research.

Dr. Hudson is passionate about building relationships with primary care veterinarians and helping them hone their ophthalmic examination and diagnostic skills. She is an active Veterinary Information Network (VIN) consultant and often presents at both in-person and virtual continuing education seminars.

Dr. Hudson loves getting to work alongside of her husband. When outside of work, they enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities and traveling together.
